I am a helping hand, an open ear, and a whole heart who enables you to discover your true inner being and from there guide you through any kind of personal and professional transformation, change, and growth.

I was born and raised in Switzerland in a family with Latin American, Japanese and German roots. From an early age on multiculturalism was part of my life and identity. In such, it is not surprising that I feel easily at home in various cultural environments and multicultural melting pots. Since early childhood, I was extremely curious and full of energy, which led me to try a multitude of different hobbies and activities, such as roller figure skating, pottery, ballet, break-dancing, horseback riding, and salsa, just to name a few. This insatiable curiosity, combined with a liberal mind and open heart, have always driven me to seek novel experiences, appreciate new or different perspectives and opinions, and continuously create challenges for myself to keep learning and developing. Yet, it took me some years to discover how I could honor these inner desires and my true self in my professional career.

Upon completing my degree in Business Administration, I was hungry for a career that would keep me growing and learning. I accepted an offer at one of the ‘big three’ auditing companies. I was highly energized by the fact of being challenged to the maximum every single day. Working long hours, while keeping up my social life and rigorous physical fitness program never seemed too much to me. But one year into my job, my body started to protest. All of a sudden I had found myself hospitalized with such a strong migraine that I had to be kept on a painkiller infusion. The following months were characterized by dozens of doctors’ visits, each ending with more and more painkillers and higher dosages. I managed to get back to my old life by keeping up the medication regimen. At that point in time, I did not yet understand what had happened. I continued my old way of life, overruling any physical warning signals with the force of my mind. Today I know that my body had tried to communicate, but I wasn’t ready to listen yet. Two years after the first signs of physical exhaustion, I paid a high price for my lifestyle with another hospitalization. This time around, however, the migraine did not become manageable anymore.  It developed into chronic headaches at the level 10 pain-scale. This is when I heard the question in my heart loud and clear: ‘Is this the right life for me? Can I possibly be happy and fulfilled in this situation? What do I truly want?’

Once I had savored the first note of the sonnet, there was no way back for me. I started reading books about happiness and taking it seriously as the currency for my own life. I reached out for the career I had always dreamt about: to become a coach for emotional intelligence. Step by step I turned around my life by 180 degrees and with the support of my friends, my family and my personal coach I embarked on the most wonderful journey I have yet taken in my life, finding purpose in helping other people find their happiness.

When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.
